Mardi Gras Pet Parade

I’m looking for 15 students to help with the Mardi Gras Pet Parade on Saturday, Feb. 3rd. There are multiple ways that you can help.

1. Work the 9-11am shift by helping unload materials, move tables and general setup activity. Good shift to work if you want to enter your on pet in the pet parade later or if you are strong enough to help but don’t really want to work with children. You will earn 2 hours community service for this.

2. Work the 11-2 shift in one of the game booths like ring toss, bean bags toss, face painting, jumper, photo booth or rock painting. This will be a fun shift if you enjoy working with kids. You will earn 3 hours community service for this and will probably be finished before 2.

3. Pay $20 to enter your own pet in the parade which includes a Mardi Gras t-shirt for you. The parade is super fun and very casual. You just walk the short parade route around Antique Alley with your pet or pull them in a wagon. It will be even more fun if your whole gang of friends come. I promise you will enjoy it. And the money you pay will help support PAWs of NELA! Show me your payment receipt to earn 2 hours community service.

I need you to sign up this week outside my door!
