Attention all students interested in taking a dual enrollment class next year: Packets and online registration for ULM courses are due no later than Tuesday, May 1st. Packets are to be turned in to Mrs. Hunt in room #4209.Packets are available in guidance.


Congratulations to the 2018 West Monroe High School Winter Guard for their 2nd Place Silver Medalist performance at the LMCGPC Circuit Championships in Thibodaux, LA this Saturday. Their show, Boys Like You, was a consistent favorite among fans all season. Thank you Elisabeth Williams, Captain, Designer and Choreographer, Aimee Bourgeois and Sydney Duncan, Co-Captains, and all the members for an incredible season!


Attention National Honor Society members who are graduating in May! Your stole payments must be made online by 11:00 PM on Thursday, March 29. The cost is $25.00. Please go to and look for the purple dollar sign icon to make your payment. Be sure your parent sets up a profile to attach your name to the payment. Also, both community service projects must be completed by April 14. Check our club page on for more information and to download your community service form if necessary. If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Rodgers in room 1205.


Student and Teachers: Come out on tomorrow from 5 - 7 pm at Johnnys on Warren Drive or Wallace Road and support technology at WMHS. Let your teachers serve you a delicious Johnnys pizza! 


Attention sophomores and juniors!  We are looking for up to 85 to 90 students to “Link” to the incoming freshman class.  A student who fits the profile of a potential Link Leader are upperclassmen who are good role models for younger students and who have been successful at our high school.  Good communication skills, leadership potential, responsibility, personality, and lessons you have learned in high school should be shared to help others succeed. You could have a tremendous influence on our new students and you will learn many valuable leadership skills in the process.  Plus, it will be fun! 


Freshmen, we are also in need of an A-team to help prepare for orientation, support the coordinators with logistics, and provide valuable assistance during orientation.

If you are interested in applying to be a Link Leader or a member of the A-team, you may pick up the application in the main office.  Completed applications must be returned to the main office no later than April 10 by 3:15 p.m.


Seniors,The Louisiana DARE Officers Association High School Scholarship applications are available in Guidance, on our web site, and on our Facebook page. The scholarship is in the amount of $1500. The deadline for applying is April 20, 2018, and the scholarship winner will be announced by May 1st. Get your application today.


If you did not get an opportunity to audition to be in the Willie Wonka Orchestra, please do so today. Auditions will be in the WMHS Choir room immediately after school. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Oden.
